The dormitory is located 3 km from the city center, convenient access by trams No. 9 and 13 and by buses No. 74 and 83, direct tram connection with Łódź Fabryczna Station (lines 9 and 13) and bus connection with Łódź Kaliska Station (line 99), canteen, swimming pool, sports hall and the Military Medical Academy University Clinical Hospital in the direct neighbourhood, there are shops, supermarkets and the well-known Green Market nearby.
The building has undergone a general renovation in 2014, it has modern electronic systems (opening the door with student’s ID, automatic heating control), a conference room and a club room, where students can organize meetings. A 65-inch TV and a projector are available in both rooms. Residents can use 3 quiet study rooms with 24 places. There is Wi-Fi in the quiet study rooms and in the club room.
We have single and double rooms organized in 4- or 8- people units; the standard equipment for each resident contains: a wardrobe, a desk cabinet, a bed, a desk, a hanging cabinet above the desk, a swivel chair, a stool and an Internet socket. There is a bathroom and a kitchenette in every unit. The kitchenette is equipped with: a fridge, an induction hob, a microwave and an electric kettle. We provide each resident with a free set of bedding (a pillow, a blanket, a cover, a pillowcase and a sheet). We have 2 rooms for disabled people with standard equipment and: adapted (en-suite) bathroom, kitchen, contacts, light switches and window opening – the room is designed to be used by one person.
